The Assisi Summer Festival is the summer music review in Assisi, in the province of Perugia, which has chosen Rocca Maggiore as its stage. This is the imposing medieval fortress that overlooks the city and offers a breathtaking view of the Umbrian valley. The fortress, illuminated on summer evenings, provides a unique setting for concerts, blending history and spectacle.

A festival born from young people

The event was born in 2023 from the inspiration and passion of about fifty young people from Assisi, united in the association Next Entertainment, in collaboration with the Municipality of Assisi. In just a few editions, the festival has established itself as one of the most followed and rapidly growing summer events in Umbria, capable of alternating big names on the Italian scene with new talents, with a focus on the younger audience.

Between concerts and summer atmosphere

In addition to concerts by headlining acts, the evenings of the Assisi Summer Festival are often accompanied by DJ sets and music until late at night, creating a summer party atmosphere. It's a way to experience Assisi in a different light, moving away from its exclusively devotional image, and to discover how a city symbolic of spirituality can also become a stage for music and social life.
