Arts and Crafts is the summer festival that brings local craftsmanship and traditions to Strada Rezia, the main street running through the center of Vigo di Fassa, a village in the municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa-Sèn Jan, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. On summer evenings, the village streets transform into a small path dedicated to the culture of making: artisans display their creations and offer live demonstrations, giving residents and guests the chance to discover the crafts that define the identity of this Dolomite region.

Tradition, creativity, and live music

The charm of the event lies in the meeting of ancient wisdom and new forms of creativity. Strolling among the stalls, you can admire traditional craftsmanship and handmade objects in an intimate and convivial atmosphere. Each evening is enriched by live music: throughout the summer of 2026, the outdoor stage hosted various artists and acoustic groups, such as the duo Elena Favè and Alessandro Biasi, with a repertoire ranging from 80s classics to the latest hits. In case of bad weather, musical performances move to the small square by the tourist office.

Vigo di Fassa, a terrace over the Dolomites

Nestled at an altitude of approximately 1,380 meters, Vigo di Fassa is one of the most picturesque locations in the Val di Fassa, dominated by the Catinaccio group and overlooking a Dolomite panorama that stretches as far as the Marmolada. The historic center, with its streets and workshops, is the ideal setting for a festival that combines craftsmanship, Ladin tradition, and village life. Arts and Crafts was born as a moment of connection: a way to experience the village, get closer to the world of craftsmanship, and spend a summer evening surrounded by music and traditions.

A summer season highlight

The festival is organized by the Comitato Manifestazioni Vich Events in collaboration with the Municipality of San Giovanni di Fassa-Sèn Jan and the Val di Fassa Tourist Board, and is part of the town's rich calendar of summer events, including markets, concerts, Ladin traditions, and gastronomic appointments. Arts and Crafts events are free to attend and take place on summer evenings along Strada Rezia.
