Artisans in the Park

A celebration of creativity by the lake

Every spring, the Parco Berrini in Ternate, in the heart of the province of Varese, transforms for a day into a large open-air market dedicated to craftsmanship and handmade goods. Artisans in the Park is an event that combines a passion for manual work, the promotion of local products, and the pleasure of spending a Sunday surrounded by greenery, with Lake Comabbio as a backdrop.

Over 80 selected exhibitors

The heart of the event is the exhibitors' stalls: over 80 carefully selected realities among creatives, artisans, and producers. Strolling through the stands, you'll find home decor items, costume jewelry, ceramics, textiles, home accessories, and many gift ideas, all strictly handmade. Alongside creativity, there is space for local farms, with their zero-km products, and food stalls with high-quality typical specialties.

For the whole family

The day is also designed for the little ones, with games and workshops for children animating the park throughout the day. There's no shortage of treats, from frozen yogurt to artisanal ice cream, and a touch of collector's passion with the exhibition of vintage cars curated by the Fiat 600 Club of Besozzo and the Abarth Varese Club, who bring iconic vehicles to admire in the park.

Ternate and Lake Comabbio

Ternate is a small municipality overlooking Lake Comabbio, in the province of Varese, in an area of lakes and hills that invites walking and slow tourism. Parco Berrini, with its view of the water, is the ideal setting for an event that focuses on slowness, quality, and know-how. The event takes place under the patronage of the Municipality of Ternate and is organized by Malpensa Meetings as part of the Artisans' Fairs.
