Three days of European flavors, crafts, and traditions on the Arona lakefront
Every autumn, the Arona European Market turns the Caduti di Nassiriya lakefront into a large international village overlooking the waters of Lake Maggiore. For three days, the center of Arona, in the province of Novara, hosts a long procession of stalls offering the flavors, aromas, and crafts of all Europe, as part of one of the most well-known traveling events promoted by FIVA Confcommercio (Italian Federation of Street Vendors).
The heart of the market is gastronomy: visitors can discover specialties from dozens of European and Mediterranean countries, from Germany to Spain, France to Austria, and the Netherlands to Portugal, alongside stands representing various Italian regions. Craft beers, cheeses, cured meats, sweets, street food, and traditional dishes are featured alongside artisanal products and home goods.
The setting of the Arona lakefront makes the event particularly pleasant: the walk among the stands winds along with a view of Lake Maggiore, in a festive atmosphere that draws families, tourists, and curious visitors from neighboring towns. Admission is free, and the stands remain open all day, from morning until evening.
Included in the official calendar of the Municipality of Arona, the European Market has become a classic autumn tradition for Arona and the entire Lake Maggiore area in Piedmont. Its simple and convivial formulaโgood food, authentic products, and a stunning locationโmakes it a highly anticipated stop for those looking to combine a trip to the lake with the discovery of European flavors.
The new edition of the Arona European Market will take place from Friday, October 23 to Sunday, October 25, 2026, on the Caduti di Nassiriya lakefront in Arona (NO), Piedmont. The event, organized by FIVA Confcommercio, confirms the formula that made it popular: three days of European flavors and crafts by Lake Maggiore, with free admission.
As usual, the stalls will offer international gastronomy and street food, typical regional products, craft beers, and artisanal creations. The detailed program and the list of exhibitors will be published by the organization closer to the event.
