About Artisans in Bloom

When spring arrives on the shores of Lake Maggiore, Ispra celebrates with Artisans in Bloom, an outdoor day dedicated to the colors, scents, and creativity of the area. Along the picturesque Lungolago Magellano, artisan stalls display their unique creations, while the Pro Loco welcomes visitors with a food stand overlooking the water. For the occasion, the parks of the town's historic villas also open their gates, a rare opportunity to stroll through gardens usually closed to the public.

Spring on Lake Maggiore

In Ispra, in the Province of Varese, on the Lombard shore of Lake Maggiore, the "Artisans in Bloom" Spring Festival celebrates the awakening of the beautiful season with a day entirely dedicated to local craftsmanship, nature, and creativity. The setting is the enchanting Lungolago F. Magellano, with the lake waters and mountains on the horizon.

Artisan Stalls

The protagonists of the day are the artisans, who display unique and original creations along the lakefront: handmade objects, decorations, local products, and creative ideas inspired by the colors and scents of spring. A walk among the stalls is the ideal opportunity to discover the crafts and talents of the area.

Gastronomy and Historic Villas

The Pro Loco Ispra Association is present with a food stand overlooking the lake, where you can taste local specialties. But the true peculiarity of the festival is the extraordinary opening of the parks of the town's historic villas - Parco Monte del Prete, Parco del Mausoleo Castelbarco, Parco di Villa Sagramoso, and Parco di Villa Mongini - some with guided tours, to discover green corners usually inaccessible to the public.

A Festival for the Whole Community

Artisans in Bloom is a free event open to all, designed to enhance the territory of Ispra and its privileged view of Lake Maggiore. A spring Sunday of creativity, flavors, and nature, ideal for families and craft enthusiasts.
