The International Street Performance Festival of Zoppola
There's an evening, at the end of July, when Zoppola sheds its skin as a quiet town in the Pordenone plain to don the guise of a grand, sprawling theatre. It's the start of Arti e Sapori, the International Street Performance Festival that for twenty years has enlivened the village with the magic of street artists and the aroma of food stalls.
In the most evocative corners of the town, performance spots multiply, animated by dozens of shows: juggling, tightrope walking, acrobatics, theatre, and music alternate in a packed programme, with artists from Italy and abroad. In recent editions, the festival has broadened its horizons with areas dedicated to art, dance, theatre, cinema, and photography, confirming its multidisciplinary vocation.
Alongside the performances, the gastronomic aspect takes centre stage: the food and wine stalls offer local and international specialities, accompanied by a wide selection of craft beers, while the artisan market completes the festive atmosphere. A blend of "arts" and "flavours", as the event's name itself suggests.
Organised by Pro Loco Zoppola APS, the festival has grown to become one of the most anticipated summer events in Friuli dedicated to street art. With the support of the Municipality of Zoppola, the event attracts thousands of visitors each year, transforming the town into a crossroads of wonder, fun, and good food.
The 20th edition is held on the weekend of July 31 - August 2, 2026. Approximately 50 performances are scheduled, including juggling, tightrope walking, acrobatics, theatre, and music, spread across 8 performance spots in the most picturesque corners of the town, with areas dedicated to art, dance, theatre, cinema, and photography. Completing the festival are 20 food and wine stalls offering local and international specialities and a rich selection of craft beers.
