A journey through music, memory, and artistic contamination in the Pordenone summer
From the beginning of summer until September, Polinote Music Festival accompanies Pordenone with a calendar of concerts spanning genres and eras. With the artistic direction of saxophonist Francesco Bearzatti, the festival presents itself as a journey through music, memory, and artistic contamination, capable of uniting jazz, classical, crossover, and homages to the great icons of musical history.
Promoted by the Polinote association, the festival enhances some of the most evocative locations in the provincial capital, from the Duomo Concattedrale di San Marco to the Ex Convento di San Francesco, and Villa Cattaneo, transforming them into stages for concerts, installations, and performances. A widespread formula that intertwines music and heritage.
Each edition builds its identity around themes and anniversaries: tributes to the greats of music, reinterpretations, and unprecedented pairings, in a program that also gives space to young performers. The focus on new generations and the quality of artistic direction make the festival a key event for the Pordenone summer.
With the patronage of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the support of numerous local cultural organizations, Polinote confirms its commitment to accessible culture, offering most events with free admission. An important contribution to Pordenone's journey towards Italian Capital of Culture 2027.
From June 6 to September 5, 2026, Polinote Music Festival celebrates its 13th edition, the 'Anniversary Edition' dedicated to the major musical and cultural anniversaries of the year. Artistic direction is entrusted to saxophonist Francesco Bearzatti, who curates a program focused on the dialogue between music, memory, and artistic contamination.
