A five-day journey through time from the 50s to the 90s in the historic center of Arco
Arco in Vintage is the annual summer event that turns back the clock in the heart of Arco, a town in the Province of Trento overlooking the Upper Garda area. For five days, the historic center is transformed into a genuine retro village: the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s take over the squares, streets, bars, and venues, which decorate their spaces in period style to guide visitors on a journey through time filled with nostalgia, color, and fun.
The heart of the event is the vintage market set up around the Collegiate Church of the Assumption, where a row of wooden stalls hosts the exhibitors. Here you can find vintage clothing, vinyl records, collectible watches, period eyewear, jewelry, furniture, hats, furs, and retro design objects: unique pieces and curiosities for collectors, enthusiasts, and casual passersby. Recent editions have featured over thirty stands, showcasing special collections such as Armando Ferrario's rare Swatch watches and Simona Scalfi's restored period eyewear.
Beyond the market, the program features exhibitions of classic motorcycles and cars—Vespas, Lambrettas, Fiat 500s, and other icons of Italian motoring—along with retro fashion shows, live music, vinyl DJ sets, and dances from the past. There is no shortage of spaces dedicated to families and children, including entertainment and an arcade room dedicated to 80s video games. Everything contributes to recreating the atmosphere of those decades, blending style, retro passion, and conviviality.
Arco in Vintage is organized by the Consorzio Assocentro, the association of merchants and operators in the historic center of Arco, with the active involvement of local businesses. The event is free to enter and typically takes place in mid-August, around the Ferragosto holiday, attracting visitors from across the Upper Garda region and beyond. It has become a highly anticipated date on the summer calendar of Arco and the Province of Trento.
For 2026, Arco in Vintage confirms its five retro days in the historic center of Arco, from August 12th to 16th. The squares and streets of the center will host the vintage market, exhibitions of classic motorcycles and cars, fashion shows, and musical performances, with entertainment for families and children. The event is free to enter.
The complete program for the five days will be published by the Consorzio Assocentro in the weeks leading up to the event. Confirmed activities include:
