Liberation Day Becomes a Celebration
April 25th (R)Exists is the event with which Savona celebrates Liberation Day, organized by the Provincial Committee of ANPI. The setting is the symbolic Priamar Fortress, a bastion overlooking the sea that for one day becomes a place of memory, culture, and popular celebration.
A Program for All Ages
From the afternoon, the fortress comes alive in all its spaces: activities for children with old-fashioned games and chess, food stalls in Piazza della Cittadella and at the Colonnato of Piazzale del Maschio, exhibitions and screenings on the theme of the Resistance curated by ANED, ISREC, and cultural associations. A widespread celebration that intertwines fun and civic engagement.
The Resistance Concert
The highlight is the evening concert at Piazzale del Maschio, with the artistic direction of Raindogs House, a historic entity in the Savona music scene. Each year, the festival gives voice to a different theme related to memory and rights, making April 25th an occasion to reflect on the present through music and culture. Free admission.

The 2026 edition of April 25th (R)Exists, organized by ANPI of Savona, was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of universal suffrage and women's right to vote. At the Priamar Fortress, from the afternoon, activities for children (chess and old-fashioned games), food stalls, and exhibitions on the theme of the Resistance curated by ANED, ISREC, and cultural associations. In the evening, the grand concert at Piazzale del Maschio, with artistic direction by Raindogs House. Free admission.

Saturday, April 25th — Priamar Fortress
- From 2:00 PM — Activities for children: chess (Anteas) and old-fashioned games with Ludobus, at the Santa Caterina Bulwark
- Afternoon — Food stalls in Piazza della Cittadella and at the Colonnato of Piazzale del Maschio; exhibitions and screenings on the theme of the Resistance (ANED, ISREC, cultural associations) between Palazzo del Commissario and Cappella Sconsacrata
- From 6:30 PM to midnight — Concert at Piazzale del Maschio (artistic direction Raindogs House) with Not Moving, Le Birrette, Sarah Lee Guthrie feat. Radoslav Lorkovic & Borderlobo, and Los Sabroson Orchestra

By train: Savona station on the Genoa–Ventimiglia line. By car: A10 motorway, Savona exit. The festival takes place at the Priamar Fortress, in the city center.
