Aperisunset is one of the most anticipated summer events in Pieve a Presciano, a small village in the municipality of Laterina Pergine Valdarno, in the heart of the Valdarno area near Arezzo (Tuscany). The event was born from the desire of the Comitato Pievigiano, the local association that brings the village to life, to turn an early summer evening into a moment of celebration shared by residents and visitors alike.

The name says it all: an extended aperitivo that accompanies guests until the sun goes down. The setting is the Muraglione of Pieve a Presciano, a panoramic overlook where the gaze wanders freely over the cultivated hills of the Valdarno. When the light turns golden, the aperitivo transforms into a spectacle—it is the sunset itself that gives the event its name: Aperisunset.

Good food, music, and local atmosphere

The formula is simple and well-tested: an apericena (aperitivo-dinner) with good food, live music, fun, and plenty of conviviality. You can eat, drink, chat, and dance in the open air, in the informal atmosphere typical of Tuscan village festivals, where what matters isn't prestige, but the pleasure of being together.

Each edition is characterized by a theme that is reflected in the decorations and the suggested dress code for participants. In 2025, the event was colored by the Hawaiian Party, complete with floral shirts and leis; for 2026, the Comitato Pievigiano has chosen the White Party, inviting guests to dress in white for an elegant and luminous evening under the Valdarno sky.
