The premier Italian nursery and flower market at the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi
Anteprima FLOReal is a major horticultural exhibition and market that brings the baroque setting of the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi to life every spring. This UNESCO World Heritage site, a former royal hunting lodge located in Nichelino, near Turin, serves as the perfect backdrop in the heart of Piedmont. Organized by the Società Orticola del Piemonte, the event symbolically kicks off the gardening season, drawing plant enthusiasts, collectors, and curious visitors from across the region.
The heart of the event is the market, which gathers the finest Italian nurseries, carefully selected from the industry's most respected names. Along the avenues and lawns of the estate, visitors can admire and purchase an extraordinary botanical variety:
Alongside the nursery stalls, the event features the FLOR Academy, a packed calendar of workshops, labs, and talks dedicated to the world of greenery and our relationship with plants. Participants can engage in hands-on activities—from bonsai care and terrarium building to floral design, ceramics, and botanical dyeing—all led by industry experts. It is a unique opportunity to learn, experiment, and gain new skills.
The experience goes beyond plants: the scenic setting of the hunting lodge, a masterpiece by architect Filippo Juvarra, hosts a food & drink area offering gastronomic delights tied to Piedmontese traditions. Amidst the blooms, scents, and colors, Anteprima FLOReal offers a day immersed in beauty, perfect for families and nature lovers alike.
Now a highly anticipated date on the Turin spring calendar, Anteprima FLOReal blends a passion for quality horticulture with the celebration of one of Piedmont's most evocative royal residences, cementing its status as one of the region's most beloved green events.
The 2026 Anteprima FLOReal was held at the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (Nichelino, Turin) from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2026, with opening hours from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Friday and 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
The market brought together a selection of Italian nurseries showcasing roses, bonsai, cacti, succulents, verbenas, petunias, and aromatic and medicinal plants, alongside garden accessories.
