Anacaprifamusica is the concert series that brings some of the most acclaimed classical and jazz performers to Anacapri, in the province of Naples, every summer. Promoted by the F.M. Napolitano Foundation, the event has built a distinct identity over the years: offering high-quality music in charming locations where the island's landscape becomes an integral part of the listening experience. Now in its twenty-fifth year, it is one of the longest-running and most beloved musical events of the Capri summer season.

Villa Rosa, a stage among the gardens

The heart of the festival is Villa Rosa, on Via Axel Munthe, just a short walk from the famous Villa San Michele. In this setting of Mediterranean gardens and terraces overlooking the sea, the piano is the absolute protagonist: the evenings take place at sunset, when the light and silence of the island create an intimate and cozy atmosphere. Over the years, Anacaprifamusica has also enlivened other iconic locations in the town of Anacapri, from the Church of Santa Sofia to the Mario Cacace Gardens, confirming the deep bond between music and the village's heritage.

A program between classical and jazz

The common thread of the festival is the dialogue between classical tradition and the sounds of jazz and singer-songwriter music. Alongside piano recitals dedicated to great composers—from Bach and Beethoven to Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff—there is space for chamber ensembles, tributes to Italian music, and evenings ranging from Baroque to contemporary influences. The performers, often internationally acclaimed young talents, offer curated programs of great virtuosity, designed for a passionate audience that is always welcoming to newcomers.

The F.M. Napolitano Foundation

The festival is an expression of the work of the Franco Michele Napolitano Foundation, a Neapolitan cultural institution committed to spreading classical music and promoting young performers. The artistic direction, entrusted to pianist Maria Sbeglia, curates a program that extends throughout the year between Naples and the island of Capri, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Campania Region, and the Municipality of Anacapri.
