The American Dream Lands on the Riviera

American Dreamcars is the most anticipated gathering of Stars and Stripes cars and motorcycles on the Romagna Riviera. Every summer, along Viale Giulio Cesare in Gatteo Mare – the seaside resort of the Municipality of Gatteo, in the Province of Forlì-Cesena – a true parade of American icons takes place: muscle cars with powerful engines, polished vintage vehicles, motorcycles, choppers, pick-ups, and custom vehicles from clubs and collectors across Italy.

An Open-Air, Free Exhibition

Established in 2016 with the patronage of the Gatteo Municipal Administration, the event has grown to become a staple of the Romagna summer. The formula is simple and successful: admission is free for both visitors and exhibitors, and the entire event takes place outdoors, between the beach, the avenue, and the holiday atmosphere of the Adriatic Riviera. Amidst sparkling chrome, roaring engines, and vintage settings, the public can stroll among the cars, take photos, chat with owners, and breathe in a piece of American culture under the Romagna sun.

More Than Just Engines

The vehicle exhibition is complemented by an entertainment program that is part of American Dreamcars' identity: DJ sets, music, and festive moments animate the avenue and accompany the evenings. The event is organized by the Associazione Gatteo Mare Turismo in collaboration with the Associazione Giulio Cesare, and is part of Gatteo Mare's rich summer calendar, which offers over two hundred events annually, including concerts, entertainment, and family activities.
