Three days dedicated to the world of agriculture in the heart of the Senio Valley
AgRiolo — Agriculture Fair is the spring event that animates the center of Riolo Terme, in the Senio Valley, in the province of Ravenna (Emilia-Romagna) every year. For three days, the village streets and Pertini Park are filled with exhibitors, animals, tractors, and people who have come from all over Romagna: it is one of the most cherished agricultural events in the area, capable of convivially combining agricultural themes, food and wine, and entertainment.
The heart of the fair is the exhibition of agricultural and horticultural machinery displayed along the streets of the historic center. Alongside the most modern equipment — satellite-guided tractors, drones for various cultivation phases, new technologies for the primary sector — the usual protagonists find their place: vintage tractors, historic cars and motorcycles, and rare "hot-head" tractors that attract agricultural mechanics enthusiasts.
A distinctive feature of AgRiolo is the livestock exhibition, where you can admire native bovine and swine breeds, as well as expressions of poultry, sheep, and horse farming practiced in the Riolo area. On Saturday morning, in the parish field, the Auction and Market for restocking calves is held, a moment linked to the ancient traditions of auction negotiations that still attracts breeders and curious onlookers today.
In addition to the exhibitions, the fair offers musical groups, parades, dog unit demonstrations, ancient farmyard games, demonstrations of old crafts, and creative workshops designed for families and children. In Pertini Park, the food stand, managed by F.A.T. Agri, is open all day: typical Romagna dishes are the true stars of the table.
Organized by the F.A.T. Agri Association with the support of the Municipality of Riolo Terme and the Pro Loco, AgRiolo is a free-entry event that attracts thousands of visitors each year. It is the perfect opportunity to discover the rural soul of Romagna, combining a stroll among machinery and animals with a delicious stop at the local stands.
The 17th edition of AgRiolo was held from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12, 2026, confirming the formula that combines agricultural exhibitions, livestock shows, entertainment, and gastronomy. The program alternated exhibitions of agricultural and horticultural machinery along the village streets with moments of tradition and fun, from the parade of vintage tractors and cars to ancient farmyard games, as well as workshops for the little ones and food stands in Pertini Park.
For all days: livestock exhibition with native bovine and swine breeds and poultry, sheep, and horse farms; dog unit demonstrations; musical groups; local producers' market with dairy products, cured meats, and fruit; creative workshops for children; food stand in Pertini Park managed by F.A.T. Agri.
