Agoni, Polenta and Music is the festival celebrating the flavours of the lake in the Municipality of Lierna (Province of Lecco), overlooking the Lecco branch of Lake Como. The stars are the 'agone', the typical freshwater fish of Lake Como, served according to lakeside tradition.
Lake Fish, Polenta and Music
The formula is that of lakeside festivals: 'agone' are enjoyed accompanied by polenta, while live music enlivens the evening on the lakefront. It's an opportunity to savour a dish from the traditional humble cuisine of Lake Como, linked to fishing that for centuries sustained the lakeside communities, in a convivial and family atmosphere.
A Village on Lake Como
The festival is organized by the Pro Loco of Lierna, active in promoting the traditions and events of the town. Lierna, with its characteristic village of Castello jutting out into the lake, is one of the most picturesque spots on Lake Como: spending an evening here with lake fish, polenta, and music means discovering the authentic, popular face of Lake Como.

On June 20, 2026, the lakefront of Lierna hosts Agoni, Polenta and Music. Lake Como 'agone' fish, served with polenta and accompanied by live music, are the stars of a summer evening overlooking the water, organized by the Pro Loco.
