The Agazzi Tagliata Festival is one of the most well-known food festivals in the Arezzo area. It takes place in the small village of Agazzi, on the outskirts of Arezzo, in the heart of the Valdichiana—a region of Tuscany deeply connected to the tradition of high-quality beef. Organized by the volunteers of the Comitato Agazzi in Festa, the festival is a summer staple that draws food lovers from across the province.

The star: Chianina tagliata

The festival's signature dish is the Chianina tagliata, sourced from the famous cattle breed of the Valdichiana, grilled to perfection and sliced. This specialty is the centerpiece of a menu that celebrates Valdichiana cuisine: grilled meats, traditional side dishes, and the ever-present pizza, all prepared in stalls managed entirely by local volunteers. The food stalls open every evening for dinner, creating the warm, welcoming atmosphere that is the heart of every village festival.
