The Abbazie Summer Festival in Canzano

The Abbazie Summer Festival is the major summer event organized by Luzmek ETS - Concerti delle Abbazie, which every year enlivens dozens of municipalities in the province of Teramo, in Abruzzo. It is a widespread, itinerant festival that brings jazz, funk, soul, and contemporary world music to the most evocative locations in the region: medieval abbeys, cloisters, villages, historic wineries, and panoramic gardens. Within this circuit, the Municipality of Canzano holds a prominent place, hosting some of the most prestigious evenings on the calendar.

Concert Venues

In Canzano, the festival selects two exceptional settings. The first is the Tenuta Cerulli Spinozzi, a historic winery nestled in the Teramo hills, where music engages with the vineyards and the region's excellent products. The second is the Giardino del Castellano, an intimate and charming setting in the center of the village, which hosts the most personal moments and the discovery of new talents.

An International Lineup

The festival, now in its eleventh edition in 2026, distinguishes itself by its ability to bring big names from the global scene to Abruzzo alongside the promotion of emerging musicians. Under the artistic direction of Maestro Carlo Michini, the festival has hosted internationally acclaimed artists over the years, alternating major headliners with experimental and research-based projects.
