Wednesday summer evenings in the heart of Predazzo, Val di Fiemme
A Pardac de Mercol Sera is the summer festival that brings the historic center of Predazzo to life every Wednesday evening in the heart of the Trentino-Alto Adige region. The name is an affectionate expression in the local Fiemmese dialect, simply meaning "in Predazzo on Wednesday evening": an invitation to experience the town when the streets fall silent to traffic and light up with music and community.
Starting at 7:00 PM, the town's main arteries—from Via Trento to Via Cesare Battisti—are closed to traffic and transformed into a sprawling open-air lounge. With shops staying open late, market stalls, local craft vendors, and food stands, it is the perfect setting for an evening stroll that blends shopping, local cuisine, and social fun.
The hallmark of the event is its live music: every Wednesday features different genres performed at various spots throughout the center, giving each evening its own unique character. From folk and traditional sounds to modern bands, the atmosphere remains that of a classic village festival that celebrates tradition without sacrificing contemporary entertainment.
Organized by the Val di Fiemme and Cembra Tourist Board, the festival is designed to showcase the identity of the Municipality of Predazzo and the valley. It is a wonderful way to enjoy the mountains after dark, support local businesses, and offer families and visitors a recurring highlight during their summer holidays.
A simple and authentic event that captures the most vibrant side of Predazzo and Val di Fiemme every summer.
The dates for the 2026 edition are confirmed: every Wednesday from July 8th to August 12th, starting at 7:00 PM, the historic center of Predazzo becomes a pedestrian zone. The evenings will be accompanied by live music of different genres each week, markets, handicrafts, local products, and shops open along Via Trento and Via Cesare Battisti.
The detailed musical program for each evening will be announced by the Val di Fiemme and Cembra Tourist Board as summer approaches: we recommend checking the official tourism channels for updates.
Predazzo can be reached by car via the SS48 Dolomite road; the nearest motorway exit is Egna/Ora (A22 Brenner Motorway), about 40 minutes away. By train, the reference station is Ora/Auer, which is connected to Predazzo by the Trentino Trasporti bus line.
The evenings take place every Wednesday starting at 7:00 PM in the town center. Admission is free. During the event, the central streets are closed to traffic: we recommend using the parking lots on the outskirts of the town.
