In Corsione, a tiny municipality in the Province of Asti nestled among the vineyards of the Piedmontese Monferrato, the village turns blue for one summer night. A Night by the Sea is the culinary event where the Pro Loco of Corsione brings the flavors of the coast far from the ocean, transforming the Struttura Polivalente in Piazza IV Novembre into a large open-air seafood banquet.

The concept is simple yet brilliant: a convivial dinner based on fresh catch, prepared in collaboration with a specialized fishmonger, accompanied by live music. It is the kind of gathering that brings small Piedmontese villages to life, where the Pro Loco acts as the engine of social activity and every event is an opportunity for neighbors, friends, and curious visitors from the surrounding areas to meet in the square.

The seafood menu

The heart of the evening is the fixed-price seafood menu, curated by the Pescheria Abissi of Asti: a complete culinary journey starting with a trio of appetizers, followed by pasta with seafood and the classic fried fish with chips, finishing with a refreshing sorbet. The price includes drinks, coffee, and a final limoncello. For those who prefer, takeaway service is also available for individual dishes.

Music and atmosphere

The dinner is accompanied by live music, which provides the soundtrack for the evening and extends the conviviality well beyond the last glass. Expect a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, typical of Asti village festivals, where the pleasure of fine dining meets the joy of being together.
