About Young Concerts

Young Concerts is the orchestral concert series promoted by the Soundiff cooperative, which brings the GOS Auditorium in Barletta, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, to life every year between May and June. The star of the show is the Soundiff Orchestra, an under-35 youth ensemble recognized by the Ministry of Culture and conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Fabrizio, accompanied by various chamber ensembles. It is a journey that weaves together the great classical repertoire, Baroque masterpieces, and 20th-century music, with accessible ticket prices to bring the public closer to live music.

Young Concerts: music by young talents in Barletta

Young Concerts is the orchestral concert series promoted by the Soundiff Soc. Coop. Impresa Sociale cooperative, which every spring transforms the GOS Auditorium in Barletta, in the heart of the Barletta-Andria-Trani province, into a home for live classical music. Born from a culture of innovation rooted in the Apulian territory, the series is now a well-established fixture in the city's musical calendar, successfully combining artistic quality, the promotion of young musicians, and public accessibility.

The Soundiff Orchestra

At the heart of the project is the Soundiff Orchestra, a youth ensemble composed of musicians under 35 and recognized by the Ministry of Culture. Conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Fabrizio, the orchestra is joined from time to time by chamber ensembles such as the Soundiff Percussion Ensemble, the Soundiff Strings Ensemble, and the Quartetto Piccinni. The group has established itself as one of the most consistent orchestral entities in the regional landscape in terms of project planning and performance level, providing a stage for emerging talents from Southern Italy.

A journey through the ages

Each edition offers a sonic path that spans centuries and styles: from the Baroque repertoire to Viennese Classicism, and from French Impressionism to 20th-century music. The programs feature works by composers such as Vivaldi, Mozart, Haydn, Ravel, Debussy, Respighi, and Shostakovich, alternating between orchestral pieces and chamber music moments. The stated goal is to create a dialogue between the great European tradition and the interpretive enthusiasm of the new generations.

  • Orchestral and chamber concerts at the GOS Auditorium
  • Young under-35 performers conducted by Maestro Giuseppe Fabrizio

Accessible culture in Barletta

The series reflects the social vocation of the Soundiff cooperative, which is also active with the Soundiff Academy in the field of training and music education from an early age. With a policy of capped prices, Young Concerts brings a wide and diverse audience closer to classical music, helping to make the Municipality of Barletta and the entire BAT province a reference point for musical life in Puglia.

Young Concerts — edition 2026

The 2026 edition of Young Concerts, the thirteenth, brought the GOS Auditorium in Barletta to life with four concerts between May 24 and June 14.
