The Superbike World Championship stops at the Cremona Circuit in San Martino del Lago
The Cremona Circuit, located in San Martino del Lago (province of Cremona, Lombardy), hosts a round of the FIM Superbike World Championship, the world championship for production-derived motorcycles. Added to the world championship calendar starting from the 2024 season, the Cremona track has quickly established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the Italian motorsport year.
The round's program is not limited to the premier class: alongside WorldSBK, there's WorldSSP (Supersport) and the WorldWCR, the women's world championship, as well as single-make trophies like the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU. Three days of free practice, qualifying, Superpole, and races offer continuous spectacle to spectators in the stands.
The Cremona Circuit winds through the plain between the Po and Oglio rivers, in an agricultural setting that provides a backdrop to a modern and challenging facility. Its proximity to Cremona, the city of violin making and music, and to Mantua makes the race weekend also an opportunity for tourism in the region.
With riders, teams, and fans coming from all over Europe, the Cremona round of the Superbike World Championship represents one of the most significant sporting events in the province of Cremona and the entire Lombardy region, successfully combining a passion for engines with regional promotion.
The 2026 edition of the Cremona round of the Superbike World Championship takes place from September 25 to 27 at the Cremona Circuit in San Martino del Lago. The weekend includes free practice, qualifying, and races for the WorldSBK, WorldSSP, and WorldWCR women's championship classes, as well as supporting trophies. A "Fan Ticket" promotion for purchases made by January 31, 2026, includes a complimentary event cap while supplies last.
The detailed timetable (sessions and races for each day) will be published by the Cremona Circuit and the official WorldSBK website closer to the event.
