Wine takes centre stage in Vallecrosia

Wine Around is the wine festival of Vallecrosia, a municipality in the province of Imperia in western Liguria. For two evenings, the Gardens of Casa Valdese host a large open-air tasting: over 300 selected labels available to the public, from Ligurian excellences to wines from all over Italy.

How it works

The format is that of a travelling tasting counter: with your glass, you move between the tasting stations, choosing what to try and talking with those presenting the wines. The tasting is enhanced by a gastronomic offer designed to accompany the tastings, making the evening a complete taste experience.

Evening atmosphere

The event takes place in the evening, from 6:30 PM to midnight, when the cool evening air makes a stroll among the stalls in the greenery of the gardens pleasant. It is an event that combines wine culture, conviviality, and discovery of the territory, in an intimate and evocative setting.

Vallecrosia and western Liguria

Overlooking the Ligurian Sea a few kilometres from the French border, Vallecrosia is a destination on the Riviera dei Fiori that alternates beaches, a historic village, and food and wine traditions. Wine Around is part of the town's lively summer calendar, which offers music, festivals, and shows throughout the beautiful season.
