The White Night in Quartiere Cristo is one of the most anticipated events of the spring-summer season in Alessandria. Held in Quartiere Cristo, the populous district west of Alessandria—the capital of the province of the same name in Piedmont—it marks the annual opening of the long "A Summer in Quartiere Cristo" festival, which hosts events throughout the district until September. For one full night, Corso Acqui and the surrounding streets become one large, sprawling celebration.
A 2.5 km pedestrian route
The heart of the event is a vast 2.5-kilometer pedestrian route that winds through Via Carlo Alberto, Corso Acqui, Piazza Ceriana, Piazza Zanzi, and Piazzale Unes. Along this path, dozens of stations are set up: musical stages, performance areas, hobbyist stalls, exhibitors, street food stands, and shops that remain open for the occasion. The 2026 edition features over 60 events, including music, cabaret, DJ sets, and live shows.
Music, tributes, and national guests
The White Night is, above all, a grand celebration of popular music: live orchestras for ballroom dancing, tributes to the hits of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, DJ sets, and entertainment hosted by local radio stations. The stage hosts nationally renowned guests and popular musical formats, turning the neighborhood into an open-air dance floor. There are also moments dedicated to sports, such as the Calisthenics gathering in the equipped area on Via Campi, and a traveling parade featuring a folk group with musicians and flag-wavers.
A community celebration
The strength of the White Night lies in its collective spirit: the event is organized by merchant associations and local entities, with the involvement of the Pro Loco, parishes, schools, sports clubs, and neighborhood groups, under the patronage of the Municipality of Alessandria. It is a festival designed for everyone, from families to young people, showcasing the identity and vitality of one of the city's most lively districts.
How to make the most of the evening
Admission is completely free. The ribbon-cutting ceremony officially opens the festival in the early evening, and the music and shows continue until late at night along the entire route. To facilitate travel, a free shuttle service connects the center of Alessandria to Quartiere Cristo during the peak hours of the event.

2026 Edition — "Everything in One Night!"
The 2026 edition of the White Night in Quartiere Cristo takes place on Saturday, June 27, under the title "Everything in One Night!", officially launching the district's summer festival. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 7:00 PM, followed by a traveling parade of musicians and flag-wavers from the "La Montesina" folk group of Pisa.
The program
There are over 63 events on the schedule along the pedestrian route: tributes to the hits of the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, ballroom dancing with live orchestras, DJ sets, and entertainment by Radio Gold and RVS. Announced national guests include Angelo Famao, Scialpi, Marco Ligabue, Regina, Paps'n'Skar, Banfy, Dj Osso, Nostalgia 90, Gianluca Impastato, and Andrea Agresti. In the afternoon, the equipped area on Via Campi hosts a Calisthenics gathering open to everyone.
