A Summer on the Hills of Tebano

Acque e Miracoli a Tebano is a multi-sensory event that takes place on the hills of Polo di Tebano, a hilly area on the border between Faenza and the Municipality of Castel Bolognese, in the province of Ravenna, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna. Born as a hilly preview of the Arena delle Balle di Paglia di Cotignola, the festival shares its philosophy: a place where landscape, storytelling, and community come together to create creative experiences immersed in nature.

Walks, Music, and Good Cheer

The program blends different genres and languages over the course of a few summer evenings. The days begin in the late afternoon with guided walks through vineyards, badlands, and sites of geological and naturalistic interest, often accompanied by birdwatching moments. As evening falls, there are talks, concerts, and comedy shows, while the catering service offers local street food and regional wines.

A Network of Communities

The event is promoted by the Associazione Amici del fiume Senio, in collaboration with the organizers of the Arena delle Balle di Paglia and with the support of local authorities and the Emilia-Romagna Region. The event is part of the Sere d'Estate (Summer Evenings) program, the summer festival of the Municipality of Castel Bolognese, which brings together dozens of events including music, theater, cinema, and culture.

Acque e Miracoli a Tebano is now a well-established event of the Castel Bolognese summer: it combines the enhancement of the hilly landscape and the Senio river with a cultural offering, with a focus on environmental sustainability and the participation of the local community. Each edition revolves around a narrative theme that links walks, music, and gastronomy into a single, widespread experience among the hills.
