A review in the heart of Val d'Arda

Every summer, the courtyard of the Castle of Cadeo, along the historic Via Emilia in the Province of Piacenza, transforms into an open-air stage. Voci dal Castello is the review that, for several seasons, has brought a program of evenings dedicated to music, storytelling theatre, and encounters with writers and disseminators to this small Emilian municipality. The charm of the manor, made available by the Lambertini family, serves as a backdrop for performances designed for a wide audience, from families to culture enthusiasts.

Who organizes it

The event is promoted by the Parish of Santa Teresa Benedetta della Croce of Roveleto, a hamlet of Cadeo, in close collaboration with the Municipality of Cadeo. The review relies on the support of partners from the Piacenza area, including the Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano, the Chamber of Commerce of Emilia, Confindustria Piacenza, and Banca di Piacenza, testifying to its solid roots in the local community.

What to expect

The program alternates between very different registers, always maintaining high quality in the choice of guests:

• Storytelling theatre with great narrators of Italian performance, capable of recounting sports, history, and characters with engaging language.
• Live music, from film soundtracks to tributes to great singer-songwriters, performed by orchestras and string quartets.
• Family shows and revisited fairy tales, designed to engage even the youngest children.
• Cultural encounters with writers, theologians, and disseminators, to reflect on current and thought-provoking themes.
