The Ferragosto festival in Vittadone

Vittadone is a hamlet of Casalpusterlengo, a municipality in the Province of Lodi, and every August 15th it becomes the heart of a village festival that attracts residents and holidaymakers. It's one of those summer feasts that preserve the authentic spirit of the communities of the lower Lombardy region, where Ferragosto is celebrated together, between church, shared meals, and dancing.

From Mass to the Food Stand

The day begins in the morning with the Solemn Holy Mass at 9:30 AM, the central religious moment of the festival. In the evening, the sports field on Via della Vittaria comes alive with the "Pan e Salam" food stand, managed with the support of local sports associations: simple and genuine traditional dishes, to be enjoyed outdoors with company.

Dancing Under the Stars

After dinner, it's time for dancing, with music by Gianmario's orchestra getting couples on the dance floor until late at night. There are also tasting moments and entertainment, in a festive atmosphere that appeals to all generations.
