About Vitala Festival

Vitala Festival is a philanthropic live music and visual arts showcase that has been enlivening Rome for over a decade. Created to support musicians, singers, and artists, it features monthly events spanning blues, soul, R&B, rock, gospel, pop, folk, and jazz. In winter, the festival takes place at the intimate Teatro Le Salette in the Prati district; in summer, it moves outdoors to the Parco Torretta de Massimi. Over 200 artists have been hosted throughout the years in a project that blends musical quality with solidarity.

A decade of live music in the heart of Rome

The Vitala Festival is a philanthropic, self-funded showcase dedicated to live music and visual arts, standing as one of the most enduring and passionate fixtures of Rome's independent cultural scene. Curated by Fabiana De Rose for Wonderwall Entertainment and produced in close collaboration with the Teatro San Genesio, the festival was founded with a clear goal: to promote and support musicians, singers, and visual artists, with all proceeds and voluntary contributions going exclusively toward production costs and supporting the featured artists.

Around twenty events per season

Running monthly from October to June, the Vitala Festival presents about twenty concerts and evenings each year. Over its many editions, it has hosted more than 200 artists, moving effortlessly between blues, soul, R&B, rock, gospel, pop, folk, and jazz. Each evening is an intimate, carefully curated encounter where the quality of the performance matters more than the scale of the event.

Two souls, two venues

The festival lives in two venues that reflect its dual spirit. From October to early June, events are held at Teatro Le Salette, a small, welcoming hall at Vicolo del Campanile 14, just a stone's throw from the Vatican in the Prati district. From mid-June to early September, the festival moves outdoors to the green setting of Parco Torretta de Massimi (Viale Luigi Moretti), located on the Via Aurelia near Via della Pisana, featuring sunset concerts accompanied by picnics and aperitifs.

The current season

The current season continues the formula that has made the Vitala Festival so recognizable. Highlights include Perfect Night: The Lou Reed Songbook, a tribute to Lou Reed's repertoire performed on January 31, 2026, and the Gypsy Jazz Night on March 10, 2026, featuring the duo of Sara d'Angelo on vocals and Daniele Corvasce on guitar, inspired by the gypsy style of Django Reinhardt. The monthly program continues until June, before giving way to the summer outdoor edition.

A project for Rome and the Lazio region

In a city and region, Lazio, already rich in major events, the Vitala Festival consistently defends a precious space: that of high-quality, personal-scale live music, where both emerging and established artists find a stage and an attentive audience. It is a vital piece of the Capital's cultural life that unites listening, connection, and solidarity.

Vitala Festival โ€” edition 2026

The 2026 edition of the Vitala Festival confirms its monthly formula between the Teatro Le Salette, in Prati, and the summer outdoor edition at the Parco Torretta de Massimi. The program features tributes, gypsy jazz, and concerts ranging from soul, blues, and gospel to folk and rock, with the usual focus on emerging artists and the philanthropic nature of the festival.

The Vitala Festival 2026 continues its monthly showcase of live music and visual arts in Rome. The season at Teatro Le Salette, in the Prati district, runs until June, before making way for the summer outdoor edition at Parco Torretta de Massimi on the Via Aurelia. As per tradition, all proceeds and voluntary contributions are dedicated to covering production costs and supporting the artists involved.
