About Visioninmusica

Visioninmusica is Terni's historic concert series dedicated to jazz, crossover, and singer-songwriter music. Hosted at the Gazzoli Auditorium, it offers a review of concerts each year with leading Italian and international artists, alongside masterclasses and lesson-concerts designed for schools. A winter and spring event that combines great live music, sound research, and training, becoming a cultural reference point for the city and for Umbria.

A Season Looking Ahead

Visioninmusica is the music festival that has been enlivening Terni, in Umbria, for over twenty years with a programme ranging from jazz to crossover, from singer-songwriter music to experimental sounds. The season takes place at the Gazzoli Auditorium, a symbolic venue for the city's musical life, and features prominent Italian and international artists on its stage.

Concerts, Masterclasses, and Schools

In addition to the main concerts, Visioninmusica places great emphasis on education: it organises masterclasses with guest musicians and lesson-concerts for schools, through the VimScuola project, to introduce younger audiences to the language of jazz and contemporary music. The festival also has summer events and collaborations that link it to the region, such as Spoleto Jazz.

A High-Quality Programme

Each edition features renowned names from the international jazz and crossover scene, alternating with Italian singer-songwriters, trios, and experimental projects. The artistic direction focuses on a balance between established great performers and innovative proposals, creating a meeting point in Terni for enthusiasts and the curious.

Culture for the City

For the Province of Terni and the entire Umbria region, Visioninmusica represents a stable cultural hub: a season that, between winter and spring, offers high-level music in an intimate venue, where listening becomes an immersive and engaging experience.
