The capital's premier wine tasting event in the EUR district
ViniAmo is the event that transforms the Hotel Cristoforo Colombo, in the EUR district of Rome, into a vast, immersive tasting room. Created to bring wine culture to the capital, the event brings together Italian wineries from North to South, international selections, and an audience of enthusiasts, collectors, sommeliers, and industry professionals. The fourth edition was held on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
The heart of the event is the tasting counters: over 350 labels available for sampling, with hundreds of wines from small niche wineries alongside international excellence. Alongside the producers, a large food area offers cured meats, cheeses, first courses, and artisanal desserts, while spaces dedicated to spirits are also available. The hotel's indoor and outdoor spaces make the tasting experience dynamic and relaxed.
The true added value of ViniAmo is its thematic masterclasses, led by experts with limited seating. The 2026 edition's journey starts in France—Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc between Burgundy and the Loire Valley—moves through a blind tasting of Italian wines, reaches Mount Etna with the Consorzio di Tutela dei Vini Etna DOC, and concludes with a focus on Lazio wines curated by Le Donne del Vino. It is a way to explore territories and styles guided by those who know them best.
ViniAmo is designed for both wine lovers and professionals: alongside open tastings, there are opportunities for producers to meet HoReCa operators, with dedicated accreditation for restaurateurs, wine shop owners, and distributors. The event is organized by Minelli Wine Events, a company founded by Stefano Minelli to promote wine culture in Rome and the Lazio region.
While maintaining a national and international outlook, ViniAmo keeps a strong bond with the territory: the Lazio region and its wineries are featured in the program every year, with the participation of local producers and dedicated insights. For those visiting Rome, it is an opportunity to discover a lesser-known but growing wine scene, from the Castelli Romani to the hills of Tuscia.
On Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Hotel Cristoforo Colombo in Rome EUR hosted the fourth edition of ViniAmo, the wine tasting organized by Minelli Wine Events. From 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the public was able to freely taste over 350 labels, ranging from small Italian niche wineries to international excellence, accompanied by a food area with cured meats, cheeses, and desserts, as well as a selection of spirits.
The program featured four masterclasses by reservation, with a journey from France to the wines of Lazio. The free shuttle service from the EUR Fermi metro station and free parking at the hotel were also confirmed.
Opening at 12:30 PM and closing at 8:30 PM (last entry at 7:30 PM). Throughout the day, tasting counters were open with over 350 wines, a food area, and a space dedicated to spirits.
Each masterclass had limited seating (about 30) and required reservation via Eventbrite.
