Lambrusco Takes Center Stage in Viadana
The Viadana Lambrusco Festival is the food and wine event celebrating the symbolic wine of the Po Valley in the historic center of the Municipality of Viadana, in the Province of Mantua. Organized by Pro Loco Viadana, the Municipality, and the Lambrusco Observatory, it transforms the heart of the city into a grand tasting journey.
The Lambrusco Counter
The heart of the festival is the Lambrusco Counter set up under the municipal arcades, featuring over one hundred labels selected by the Lambrusco Observatory. Accompanying the wines are street food options from food trucks and local products: luadel, cooked shoulder, cooked pancetta, and specialties from local delis and butchers.
Music and a Festive Historic Center
The evenings are enlivened by live music in Piazza Manzoni, while stalls and markets wind through the city streets, fostering moments of conviviality. The festival also highlights Viadana's luadel, a local De.Co. product. This spring event combines wine culture, street food, and piazza life.
Lambrusco Festival — edition 2026
The Viadana Lambrusco Festival 2026 takes place on Friday, May 8th, and Saturday, May 9th, in the historic center (with a rain date of May 15-16). Under the municipal arcades, the Lambrusco Counter offers over one hundred labels selected by the Lambrusco Observatory.
Alongside the wines, five food trucks and local delis (Tigellamente, Fuiada Gastronomia, La Boutique della Carne) will offer luadel, cooked shoulder, and cooked pancetta. Both evenings will feature live music in Piazza Manzoni. Among the new features, De.Co. bags dedicated to Viadana's luadel will be distributed to participating bakers.

Viadana is reachable by car from the SS420 along the Po River, about 40 km from Mantua. Parking is available near the historic center.
Hours and admission
Free admission. Tentative opening hours: Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Tastings and street food are paid.
