Vasto in Jazz is the festival that transforms the Neapolitan Gardens of Palazzo d'Avalos into an open-air stage for great jazz every summer. In the historic center of Vasto, a city on the Trabocchi Coast in the province of Chieti, the music finds one of the most evocative settings in Abruzzo, nestled between the walls of the 16th-century palace, the manicured greenery of the gardens, and the sweeping panorama of the Adriatic Sea.

Three evenings, three atmospheres

The festival's formula is well-established: three events spread between July and August, each with its own distinct character, alternating between refined female vocalists, tributes to the history of Italian jazz, and encounters between generations of musicians. The goal is to offer a high-profile artistic program that bridges the gap between African American tradition, Mediterranean sounds, and the best of the Italian instrumental school.

The event is promoted by the Municipality of Vasto in collaboration with the Livemusic cultural association and is part of the official Vasto Summer calendar.
