About Valsamoggia Summer Festival

The Valsamoggia Summer Festival is the summer celebration that combines sport with fun in the heart of Crespellano, a district of the Municipality of Valsamoggia, in the province of Bologna. Organized by Polisportiva Valsamoggia ASD in the green setting of Parco Fabrizio De André, it brings together sports tournaments, yoga and pilates classes, live music, evening DJ sets, inflatables for children, and rich food stalls. A free event, designed to involve all ages, where physical activity intertwines with conviviality and good food.

A festival that combines sport and fun

The Valsamoggia Summer Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the summer in Valsamoggia, a Municipality in the province of Bologna created by the merger of five villages in the Samoggia river valley. The event takes place in the district of Crespellano, within Parco Fabrizio De André, a large green area that serves as a natural stage for intense days of sport, music, and socialising.

Sport takes centre stage

The heart of the festival is its sporting dimension, managed by Polisportiva Valsamoggia ASD, the association that organises the event. Throughout the days, tournaments and activities open to everyone take place: from football tournaments to yoga and pilates classes, to initiatives designed to introduce people of all ages to outdoor exercise. It's a concrete way to experience sport as an opportunity for meeting and community, in line with the Polisportiva's mission in the area.

Music, flavours, and families

As evening falls, the park transforms: it's time for live music and DJ sets that liven up the festival's summer nights. For the little ones, there are inflatables and dedicated activities, while the food stalls and cocktail bar remain open for everyone. There are also market stalls, completing an offering designed to entertain visitors of all ages, from afternoon until late at night.

A free event for the community

With free admission, the Valsamoggia Summer Festival confirms itself as a popular and inclusive celebration, capable of enhancing Parco Fabrizio De André and strengthening the sense of belonging to the Valsamoggia community. A simple and winning formula, which combines well-being, entertainment, and conviviality in one of the most beloved green areas of the Bologna region.
