Great international classical music between Terni and Narni
The Umbria Classic Festival is the classical music event that enlivens Terni and Narni, in Umbria, during the spring. Promoted by the Mozart Italia Association – Terni in collaboration with the Municipalities of Terni and Narni, the Office for Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage of the Diocese, and with the main support of the CARIT Foundation, the festival was founded with the aim of presenting "the best of classical music" through the presence of internationally famous artists.
The program features a series of concerts held in highly valuable churches, palaces, and cloisters: from the Salone Bazzani of PalaSì to Palazzo Primavera in Terni, from the Chiostrina of the Municipal Library to the Palazzo Vescovile in Narni. This choice also makes the festival an itinerary to discover the artistic heritage of the Province of Terni.
Under the artistic direction of Anaïs Lee, president of Mozart Italia – Terni, the program alternates chamber music, vocal repertoire, and soloists, with ensembles that have won international competitions. The festival also offers summer masterclasses in Narni, confirming a mission that combines high-level dissemination and musical training.
One of the distinctive features of the Umbria Classic Festival is free admission to all concerts, made possible by the support of the CARIT Foundation and regional and municipal sponsorships: a way to make great classical music a shared asset accessible to the entire community.
The 4th edition of the Umbria Classic Festival was held from April 11 to 27, 2026, between Terni and Narni, with five free concerts made possible by the support of the CARIT Foundation and municipal and regional sponsorships. Artistic direction was curated by Anaïs Lee, president of the Mozart Italia Association – Terni.
Among the artists were the Liszt Trio (violin, cello, and piano), winner of an international chamber music competition, mezzo-soprano Silvia Pasini with David Delli Santi on piano, guitarist Nino D'Amico, the Werther Quartet, and opera singers Sofia Pavone, Gurgen Baveyan, and pianist Michelangelo Carbonara. The concerts were held in prestigious settings including the Palazzo Vescovile in Narni, the Chiostrina of the Municipal Library in Terni, the Salone Bazzani of PalaSì, and Palazzo Primavera.
