A fair with six centuries of history

The roots of Tuscania Fair go back to 1420: since then, the Tuscania fair has been a reference point for the agricultural, commercial, and productive world of Tuscia. Organized by the Municipality of Tuscania, in the province of Viterbo, in the heart of the Etruscan Lazio, the event renews itself every May, transforming the village into a large exhibition route filled with flavors, trades, and entertainment for all ages.

Over 150 exhibitors in the historic center

The fair route winds through Viale Trieste, Piazza Italia, and Via Roma, featuring over 150 exhibitors: stalls, food and wine stands, artistic crafts, agricultural displays, and family activities. The historic heart of the fair is the area dedicated to agricultural vehicles and machinery, showcasing leading industry brands and the latest generation of tractors—a sector the municipal administration has chosen to invest organizational and economic resources in. Starting from the 2026 edition, a thematic space dedicated to craftsmanship has been added, designed to showcase local production and regional expertise.

Street performances and live music

Beyond its commercial and agricultural dimensions, Tuscania Fair is also a lively street festival: along the village streets, you will find street artists, magic shows, circus performances, and fire-eaters, as well as children's entertainment with face painting and creative workshops, plus evening concerts, marching band performances, and dance nights. The Parco Torre di Lavello viewpoint, with its amphitheater, provides the perfect backdrop for several cultural events.

Discovering Etruscan Tuscania

The fair is also an opportunity to discover one of the most fascinating villages in Lazio: during the three days, guided tours of the historic center are offered, including churches, palaces, and fountains, as well as the Archaeological Museum and the Etruscan necropolises surrounding the city, such as Pian di Mola. A blend of history and tradition that makes the event an immersive experience within the village walls.

Traditional flavors

A major gastronomic highlight is the Tuscania fried pizza, both sweet and savory, a typical specialty to be enjoyed in all its variations along the town streets, alongside stands featuring typical products from the Viterbo Tuscia region.
