On a Sunday in early June, the historic center closes to traffic and turns into a large open-air market: shopkeepers move out of their stores to set up stalls along the streets, while the public strolls through promotions, tastings, and entertainment from morning until evening.

The delicious highlight of the day is the local street food, a concept that celebrates regional products: local food shops and city-center venues set up "islands of taste" featuring Monferrato specialties and traditional dishes. Past editions have featured agnolotti with ragù, panissa, platters of local cured meats and cheeses, local pastries, crepes, gelato, and fresh fruit: a culinary journey that tells the story of Trino through its flavors.
