The festival of creators and influencers that invades Terni
The TIC Festival (acronym for Terni Influencer & Creator) is the event that since 2023 has brought the world of creators, educators, and the most followed voices of the Italian web to the heart of Terni, in Umbria. Organized by the association Umbria for the Future ETS, the event has grown edition after edition to become one of the reference appointments in Italy for those who want to understand how to tell stories and communicate today.
The TIC is not held in a single location: it is a widespread festival that occupies dozens of venues in Terni's historic center, from the BCT – Terni Municipal Library to the PalaSì, from the Cinema Politeama Lucioli to Palazzo Primavera, up to the beating heart of Piazza Europa, with incursions into the city's high schools. All events are free until seats are filled, a choice that makes the festival a popular and accessible experience.
Behind the label "influencer and creator" there is actually a very dense program that intertwines scientific dissemination, mental and physical health, sport, road safety, rights, journalism, and artificial intelligence. Alongside web personalities, Olympic athletes, doctors, journalists, writers, and artists take turns, in a dialogue that aims to unite the drive of digital with social commitment. Over the years, the festival has developed significant partnerships, including one with the European Parliament Office in Italy.
Thanks to the collaboration with the National Deaf Association and the Lions Club Terni Host, a portion of the meetings is made accessible with LIS (Italian Sign Language) interpretation. The festival also hosts health prevention and social awareness initiatives, confirming a vocation that goes beyond entertainment.
Held in April, the TIC Festival is also an opportunity to discover Terni and its Province in spring, between the Marmore Falls and the historic center, in a city that for four days changes its rhythm and fills with young people and curious visitors from all over Italy.
The 4th edition of the TIC Festival took place from April 9 to 12, 2026 around the keyword #LISTEN, understood as an invitation to put listening back at the center of relationships in an era marked by divisions. With over 250 guests and more than 140 free events, it was the largest edition ever.
Among the protagonists were skating champion Carolina Kostner, comedian Max Angioni, entrepreneur Carolina Cucinelli, geopolitical analyst Dario Fabbri, astronaut Luca Parmitano, Olympic athletes from Milan-Cortina 2026 Pietro Sighel, Andrea Giovannini, and Davide Ghiotto, sports journalists Gianluca Di Marzio and Luca Marchetti, rider Danilo Petrucci, and Paralympic champion Giulia Ghiretti.
Thanks to the collaboration with the National Deaf Association and the Lions Club Terni Host, fifteen events were made accessible with LIS interpretation. All appointments, hosted at BCT, PalaSì, Cinema Politeama Lucioli, Palazzo Primavera, Piazza Europa, and city schools, were free admission.
