La Notte del Liscio is one of the most beloved events of the Romagnol summer: a large, widespread festival, promoted by the Emilia-Romagna Region with APT Servizi and Destinazione Romagna, which transforms squares, beaches, and promenades into open-air dance floors. Cesenatico, a lively seaside town in the Province of Forlì-Cesena, has always been among the main locations, with the heart of the festival in Piazza Andrea Costa, a stone's throw from the Leonardesque canal port.
