Il Castello del Gusto is the food and wine event that brings local flavours to the evocative setting of Bonoris Castle in Montichiari, in the Province of Brescia. An evening designed for wine and good food enthusiasts, who can taste the excellences of Brescia by meeting the producers directly.

The stars of the evening are the wines from local wineries and beers from craft breweries, accompanied by cured meats, cheeses, and gastronomic specialities from Brescia offered by selected producers. The tasting journey winds through the castle's halls and its Italian garden, a blend of food culture and the beauty of the place.
Promoted by the Wine Route
The event is promoted by Colli dei Longobardi Strada del Vino e dei Sapori together with the Municipality of Montichiari, with the collaboration of Slow Food and Radio Bruno Brescia. An opportunity to enhance the food and wine productions of the Brescia area and to experience Bonoris Castle in a convivial and discovery-oriented way.
The Castle of Taste — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Il Castello del Gusto brings an evening of tasting to Bonoris Castle in Montichiari on Saturday, June 13, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Featuring wines from San Michele, Lazzari, and Tenuta La Vigna wineries, and beers from Riversa Brewery, accompanied by cured meats, cheeses, and Brescianspecialities from selected producers. Visitors can meet the producers and tour the castle halls with its Italian garden. Entry €20, tastings and access included.
