About We Love Castello
Summer on the Cidneo Hill
We Love Castello is the major summer review that transforms Brescia Castle, on the Cidneo hill, into an open-air cultural and entertainment hub. For many months, from spring to early autumn, the fortress overlooking Brescia — the capital of the homonymous province in Lombardy — hosts a packed program of events ranging from music to culture, from art to food and wine.
Three Souls, One Castle
The event is divided into several distinct spaces. Belvedere 030 is the food and beverage area, with two internal kitchens (snacks and burgers) and food trucks, open from the afternoon until late at night. The Fossa Viscontea hosts CAGE9, with DJ sets and live music on weekend evenings. The Bastione di San Marco is the main stage, reserved for major events, festivals, and concerts.
Festival within a Festival
We Love Castello acts as a container for various reviews hosted throughout the summer: from Brescia Cosplay & Comics dedicated to comics and pop culture, to musical and artistic events that follow one another throughout the season. Every weekend the castle offers something different, making it a reference point for a wide variety of audiences.
A Place to Enjoy All Summer Long
More than a single event, We Love Castello is a way to experience the Brescia summer: people go up to the castle to dine, listen to music, watch a show, or simply enjoy the view of the city from above. A dedicated shuttle, the "Linea Castello", connects the city center to the fortress on main evenings, making it even easier to reach one of Brescia's symbolic locations.

The seventh edition runs from May 16 to September 13, 2026 (food area open from May 14). Belvedere 030 hosts the catering, CAGE9 in the Fossa Viscontea offers DJ sets and live music on weekends, while the main stage at Bastione di San Marco hosts major events. Among the featured reviews is Brescia Cosplay & Comics on May 30-31.
