The flavours of Garda in a step-by-step journey

Salò Golosa is the food and wine event that enlivens the historic centre of Salò, on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, every end of September. The idea is a multi-stop taste tour: visitors receive the Passport of Good Taste and use it to sample typical products offered at various stations set up in the streets and squares of the town.

Land and water, two itineraries

The tour is divided into two thematic itineraries: one dedicated to products from the land — Garda oil, cured meats, cheeses, traditional Brescia sweets — and one to the flavours of the water, with lake fish and recipes that have characterized the lakeside cuisine for centuries. A formula that concretely showcases the gastronomic richness of the Garda area.

A young but established event

Born a few years ago, Salò Golosa has grown rapidly to become a major event on the autumn calendar, organised by Salò Promotion as part of the town's initiatives. It takes place in September, when the riviera regains a more relaxed pace and is ideal for leisurely enjoyment.
