L'Asparago e Dintorni is the festival that in San Zeno di Cassola, a hamlet of the municipality of Cassola in the province of Vicenza, celebrates the White Asparagus of Bassano DOP: one of the most renowned gastronomic excellences of Veneto, with a delicate and slightly bitter taste, protected by the Protected Designation of Origin trademark. The event takes place between late April and early May in Piazza San Zeno, hosted in a free-entry marquee.

The absolute protagonist is the white asparagus, served according to tradition: steamed asparagus with eggs, asparagus risotto, lasagna, and many other preparations from the food stand, accompanied by local wines. L'Asparago e Dintorni 2026 takes place in San Zeno di Cassola (VI) from April 30 to May 10, over two weekends, in Piazza San Zeno (church side), under a free-entry marquee. The food stand offers specialties based on White Asparagus of Bassano DOP.
Among the events: the 22nd Competition Exhibition of the White Asparagus of Bassano DOP (May 1st), the gourmet evenings 'Metti una sera a cena' (May 5th) and 'Sfumature d'Asparago' (May 7th), tribute concerts and DJ sets, the 'Aspara Go' Nordic Walking technical trial, and a walk through the territory.
