Buffalo Takes Center Stage in Terrassa Padovana
Terrassa in Festa - Festa della Bontà di Bufala is the festival that transforms Terrassa Padovana (province of Padua) into the capital of buffalo specialties every summer. The event takes place at Parco Gasparotto, on Via Mameli, over two long weekends between late June and early July.
An All-Buffalo Menu
The covered stand, open from 7:00 PM, offers a menu entirely built around buffalo: gnocchi, bigoli, and tagliatelle with tomato, ragù, and buffalo ragù sauces, as well as buffalo pie. Among the main courses, buffalo caprese salad, roast beef, and buffalo tagliata, stew, bresaola, and buffalo stracchino, in addition to horse meat and grilled chicken. Side dishes range from fried zucchini flowers to French fries, mixed salad to beans with onion; desserts are made with buffalo milk.
Music and Dancing
The evenings are enlivened by live music and dancing, with evenings of swing, country, Latin, and music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Organized by Pro Loco Terrassa APS, the festival is a convivial event that combines the discovery of a unique product like buffalo with the popular festive atmosphere typical of the festivals in the Bassa Padovana region.
Buffalo Goodness Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 Buffalo Goodness Festival — 17th edition of Terrassa in Festa and 8th of the Buffalo Goodness Festival — is scheduled for June 26-27-28 and July 3-4-5 at Parco Gasparotto in Terrassa Padovana, Via Mameli. The covered stand opens from 7:00 PM with a menu entirely based on buffalo and evenings of music and dancing. Organized by Pro Loco Terrassa APS (reservations not accepted).
