Portici Market

A stroll through the treasures of the past

The Portici Market is the monthly appointment for antiques and collectibles in the historic center of Piove di Sacco, in the province of Padua. On the second Sunday of each month, from dawn, stalls fill Piazza Matteotti and the arcaded streets of the center, transforming the town into a large open-air market.

What you can find

The market is dedicated to used and antique items: you can find antique furniture, works of art, ceramics, glassware, and home accessories, second-hand clothing, collectible items (stamps, coins, books, records, vintage instruments), and handcrafted creations. New merchandise, new clothing, and food products are not allowed: the identity remains firmly that of the second-hand stall and the collectible piece.

Exhibitors and organization

The market brings together two categories of sellers: professional operators with commercial permits and hobbyists with identification cards. For hobbyists, the reference point is the Pro Loco of Piove di Sacco (Via Garibaldi 40), while the initiative is coordinated by the Municipality. It is one of the most established events in the city's calendar and a reference point for antique markets in the entire Saccisica region.
