Born under an official TED license, TEDxSondrio is the event that brings the "ideas worth spreading" conference format to the capital of Valtellina. On the stage of the Teatro Sociale in Sondrio, speakers capable of condensing an idea, a story, a discovery into a few minutes alternate, in open dialogue with the audience.

The 2026 theme: Crossing Borders

The 2026 edition revolves around the word "Crossing Borders": the courage to push beyond what we know and to cross the boundaries that limit us, whether they are geographical, mental, or cultural. A theme that naturally dialogues with a mountain territory like Valtellina, where borders — those with Switzerland, those between valleys, those between tradition and innovation — are part of the very identity of the place.

Artists, entrepreneurs, travelers, and thinkers alternate on stage, united by the desire to share personal and collective growth. Each talk is a small journey: from science to technology, from art to society, from innovation to life stories. An event for Sondrio and Valtellina

Organized by a team of volunteers under a TEDx license, the event takes place in the center of Sondrio, the provincial capital, and has quickly established itself as one of the most anticipated cultural events in the region. After the first edition in 2025 dedicated to the theme "The Essential," TEDxSondrio confirms its commitment to bringing impactful ideas to Valtellina.
