Originally founded in 2000 in Catania as "Catania Talenti & Dintorni" and later moved permanently to Taormina, the festival is now an international appointment that effectively closes the global fashion calendar after Paris, Milan, and Florence.

The Taomoda Week program goes far beyond the runway: throughout the week, the schedule features fashion shows, exhibitions, masterclasses and training workshops, talks and round tables, business conversations, literary moments, photo shoots, and a Sustainability Day dedicated to ethical and responsible fashion. The Tao Awards at the Ancient Theatre

How to get there
Taormina can be reached by train (Taormina-Giardini station, on the Messina-Catania-Siracusa line) with shuttle buses to the center, or by car via the A18 Messina-Catania motorway (Taormina exit). The nearest airport is Catania-Fontanarossa, about an hour away.
