A three-way female dialogue on the art of weaving
The FORO G Gallery is an exhibition space overlooking the lakes of Ganzirri, a charming village in Messina located on the Strait, at the northeastern tip of Sicily. Founded in 2020 by the Messina-based artist Roberta Guarnera, the gallery has become a landmark for contemporary art in the region, hosting exhibitions, workshops, and meetings that showcase both established and emerging artists from the Municipality of Messina and the entire Sicilian Region.
Inaugurated in March 2026, the T3ssiture exhibition brings together three artists — Roberta Guarnera, Silvia Muscolino, and Graziella Romeo — in an exhibition path built around the theme of weaving. The ancient gesture of interlacing threads, historically associated with the feminine, becomes a metaphor here for memory, life cycles, and an almost cosmic dimension.
Each artist brings her own voice: Roberta Guarnera with "Vesto di memoria" (Garment of Memory), sewn works that reclaim fabrics and familiar embroidery practices; Silvia Muscolino with the "Nodo Magico" (Magic Knot); and Graziella Romeo with her "Frammenti" (Fragments). The three-way dialogue explores the figure of the woman between popular imagination and contemporary identity, culminating in a final cinematic-style installation.
Overlooking Via Lago Grande, just a few steps from the lakes of Ganzirri and the sea of the Strait, the FORO G Gallery offers a constant calendar of solo and collective exhibitions, art workshops, and critical discussions throughout the year. Visiting it means discovering a vibrant corner of the Messina cultural scene, far from the most touristy circuits but deeply rooted in the traditions and identity of Sicily.
The vernissage was held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the FORO G Gallery in Ganzirri, with the exhibition open to the public until March 22. The display brought together the works of three artists in dialogue: Roberta Guarnera with "Vesto di memoria", Silvia Muscolino with the "Nodo Magico", and Graziella Romeo with "Frammenti".
The theme of weaving — the quintessential feminine gesture — guided a journey made of embroidery, knots, and family fabrics, leading to a final cinematic-style installation. The exhibition, held near International Women's Day, offered a reflection on memory, identity, and the female role. Free admission.
