Pulsano's festival of local specialties featuring Apulian gastronomy, folk music, and craftsmanship
The T-Fest – Festival of Local Specialties is an event that transforms Pulsano, a small town in the Province of Taranto overlooking the Ionian Sea, into an open-air stage dedicated to Apulian identity every summer. Organized by the Pro Loco of Pulsano, the initiative takes place in the evocative area in front of the Convento dei Padri Riformati, bringing together gastronomy, culture, music, and folk traditions over three evenings.
The beating heart of T-Fest is the food and wine fair, a journey through local products with a particular focus on certified De.Co. (Municipal Denomination), PAT (Traditional Agri-food Products), and Slow Food Presidia excellence. Featured specialties include focaccia alla tajedda, orecchiette, pettole, grilled bombette meat, artisanal cheeses and cured meats, as well as traditional breads and desserts, all accompanied by Apulian wines and beers.
T-Fest is also a feast for the eyes and ears: a large central stage hosts concerts, shows, and traditional folk music, with pizzica and taranta street bands engaging the crowd, while street artists perform throughout the event area. The festival is divided into several thematic sections: the taste fair, art exhibitions, craft markets, and spaces dedicated to volunteer associations and discussions on tourism and regional development.
Launched in 2023, T-Fest has grown edition after edition thanks to the work of Pro Loco volunteers and the support of the Municipality of Pulsano, the Apulia Region, the Province of Taranto, and local associations. Today, the festival represents a precious opportunity to rediscover Apulian identity, support local producers, and experience the authentic atmosphere of an Ionian village during warm summer nights.
The fourth edition of T-Fest returns to Pulsano from July 24 to 26, 2026, in the area in front of the Convento dei Padri Riformati. As every year, the Festival of Local Specialties will feature a food and wine fair with local De.Co., PAT, and Slow Food Presidia products, alongside concerts, pizzica, street performances, and craft markets. The complete program, including the musical line-up and guests for the three evenings, will be communicated by the Pro Loco of Pulsano on official channels in the weeks preceding the event.
T-Fest is held in the area in front of the Convento dei Padri Riformati, in the center of Pulsano (TA), Puglia.
By car: Pulsano can be reached from Taranto (approx. 20 km) via the SS7ter and provincial roads towards the Ionian coast. By train: the nearest station is in Taranto, connected to Pulsano by local bus lines. By plane: Brindisi and Bari airports.
Admission to the event is free. The evenings generally begin in the late afternoon with the food and wine fair and continue into the night with concerts and performances.
We recommend checking the official Pro Loco of Pulsano channels for the updated program and specific evening schedules.
