This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
The Summer Games is the summer multi-sport tournament that, for several seasons, has enlivened and refreshed the summer nights in San Pancrazio Salentino, a town in the province of Brindisi in the heart of the Salento region, Puglia. Born as a friendly and playful challenge between local teams, the event has grown edition after edition to become one of the most anticipated highlights of the Estate Sampancraziese, the summer event calendar promoted by the Municipality. In 2025, the event reached its fourth edition, confirming its status as one of the most popular local sporting initiatives of the summer.
The heart of the event is sport, experienced in a light, playful, and fun way. Athletes and teams compete in a wide range of disciplines designed specifically for the summer season and the evening audience:
The Summer Games are not just about competition. Every evening features music, entertainment, and food stalls, while the dance schools of San Pancrazio Salentino take the stage with their hip-hop performances, involving young people and families. The atmosphere is typical of Puglian village festivals: sport, entertainment, and conviviality in one large open-air venue, capable of attracting audiences of all ages.
The event is held in the gardens of the "Don Milani" school complex and in Piazza Unità d'Italia, in the center of San Pancrazio Salentino. The spaces are set up with playing fields and public areas, creating a small sports village just a stone's throw from the heart of the town.
The Summer Games are organized by ASD Copa90, led by Giovanni Maci, Alessandro Taurino, and a large, young staff, with the patronage of the Municipal Administration of San Pancrazio Salentino. The event is a full-fledged part of the Estate Sampancraziese program, the season of events that accompanies residents and visitors throughout the hot months.
The dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced. Based on recent seasons, however, it is likely that the tournament will return between late July and early August, in the usual spaces of the "Don Milani" gardens and Piazza Unità d'Italia. The final calendar and the program of disciplines will be communicated by ASD Copa90 and the Municipality of San Pancrazio Salentino in the weeks leading up to the event.
At the moment, the dates and program for the 2026 edition of the Summer Games in San Pancrazio Salentino have not yet been released.
