The summer festival of shows and culture organized by the Cultural and Recreational Club of Panchià, in the Val di Fiemme
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Every summer, the Cultural and Recreational Club of Panchià transforms the evenings in this small village in the Val di Fiemme, in the province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige), into a calendar of free events designed for families, children, and anyone spending their holidays in the Dolomites. This is not a massive festival for thousands of spectators, but an authentic village celebration, deeply rooted in the community and curated by the association that has kept the town's cultural life vibrant since 1979.
The festival's evenings range from children's theater to puppet shows, magic performances, and themed environmental readings, as well as photo exhibitions showcasing the history and traditions of the area. Most events take place on Monday evenings, usually at 9:00 PM, at the Piazzale Feste, moving to the municipal theater in case of rain. The programming focuses on community spirit: admission is free, and the audience consists of residents and vacationers who, after a day of hiking and exploring trails, gather in the square for an open-air show.
Founded in 1979 as a branch of the Tesero Cultural Club and becoming independent in 1983, the Panchià Club is the beating heart of the village's social life. In addition to the summer festival, it manages the municipal library, oversees the restoration of local historical heritage (shrines, frescoes), and organizes the famous life-sized nativity scene, floral balcony competitions, social trips, art exhibitions, and concerts. Its activities are supported by the municipal administration and the Cassa Rurale di Fiemme.
Panchià is a village of just over 800 inhabitants, nestled in the Val di Fiemme between Ziano di Fiemme, Tesero, and Predazzo. Dominated by the Renaissance-style Church of San Valentino and a living artisan tradition, the village is an ideal base for summer hiking and winter skiing in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites. The Club's summer festival is the perfect opportunity to discover the more intimate, community-focused side of this mountain corner.
At the moment, the dates and program for the 2026 edition of the Cultural and Recreational Club of Panchià summer festival have not yet been published. Based on previous years, events are expected between July and August, typically on Monday evenings at 9:00 PM at the Piazzale Feste (moving to the municipal theater in case of bad weather). The program is expected to feature the usual format: family theater, puppet and magic shows, environmental readings, and photo exhibitions. The detailed program will be announced by the Club in the weeks leading up to summer.
Shows are primarily held at the Piazzale Feste in Panchià (Val di Fiemme, Trento province), moving to the municipal theater in case of bad weather. Some events take place near the sports field area.
From July to August, usually on Monday evenings at 9:00 PM.
