The festival of Summaga
Summaga is a hamlet of Portogruaro, in the Province of Venice, known for its splendid Abbey of Santa Maria Maggiore, a Romanesque gem with medieval frescoes. Here, every year, the Associazione Viviamo Summaga organises Summaga in Festa, the village festival that brings together the inhabitants and visitors of the area.
Food, music and conviviality
The event offers local gastronomy and seasonal specialities, accompanied by offerings inspired by Bavarian cuisine, with stands and areas dedicated to catering. The evenings are enlivened by music and entertainment, in a festive atmosphere designed to involve families and people of all ages.
A community festival
More than just an event, Summaga in Festa is an occasion to bring the hamlet together: the Viviamo Summaga association, through the work of its volunteers, brings the festival to life to strengthen the community's ties and support the village's social life, in spring or at the start of summer.

Getting there
Summaga is a hamlet of Portogruaro, reachable in a few minutes from the city centre. Portogruaro is served by the Portogruaro-Caorle railway station and by the A4 motorway, Portogruaro exit.
